Nose Mask

In light of the current spike in air pollution in the nation, the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) is recommending that Ghanaians think about donning nose masks.

GMet warns people to use protective nasal gear to keep safe because the country’s airspace is contaminated.

The Air Quality Index has declared Ghana to be the most polluted nation.

Felicity Ahianyo, the head of the Ghana Meteorological Agency’s Central Analysis and Forecasting Unit, recommended wearing nose masks to protect against infections brought on by the recent dusty environment.

“You can even see the dust settling on cars, buildings, and any other thing, so it becomes very visible to us, and since it is coming from the bare floor, it will definitely have some pathogens, parasites, or disease-causing agents that may be dangerous to our health.”
