Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew scored two goals in style for French side Le Havre against Lorient in the French Ligue 1, resulting in a three-all draw at the Stade du Monstoir.

Lorient was leading Le Havre by two goals when Ayew entered the game in the 70th minute and stayed on the field for the rest of the second half. Daler Kuzyaev was replaced.

When he connected on a beautiful cross from French forward Nabil Alioui in the 85th minute to give Le Havre a response, the 34-year-old attacker made an immediate impact.

In the final seconds of the game, Andre Ayew was back at it, scoring an overhead kick to make sure the spoils were shared.

At the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire, Andre Ayew played just 77 minutes of football after replacing Mozambique and Cape Verde in the opening match.

Conversely, he has scored his first two goals for his club following a lackluster performance at the AFCON.
