Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum

On Tuesday, irate Kumasi Asante Kotoko supporters forbade head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his team from entering the club’s training field in Adako Jachie, further intensifying tensions within the organization.

The team’s routine training session was interrupted by the enraged fans, who were upset over a run of poor performances in the Ghana Premier League.

With seven losses in nine games, the Porcupine Warriors collapsed to 11th place in the league table, giving up their once-dominant top half position to Hearts of Oak.

The disgruntled fans demanded the dismissal of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his coaching staff, pointing to the team’s poor performance as justification.

Regarding what happened at the Adako Jachie in Kumasi, the club has not yet made an official statement.

The league leaders Samartex 1996 and Kotoko will play on Sunday, April 21, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
