In the two remaining group games against Egypt and Mozambique, Alexander Djiku is urging his teammates to be more aggressive.

In their first group B match on Sunday at Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny, Ghana suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Cape Verde.

Despite being disappointed with the game’s outcome, the Fenerbahce defender, who gave an outstanding performance in the team’s loss to the Blue Sharks, thinks the team can win the next one.

Djiku stated that in order for the Black Stars to defeat Egypt, they would need to put in a lot of effort and generate more opportunities.

‘’It’s so difficult but we need to do more” he said.

”We need to be more aggressive, we need to play more, we need to create more chances and we need to also score. We have another game and we need to win that one” he added.
