In the matchweek 26 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League, Dreams FC further exacerbated Asante Kotoko’s problems on Sunday by winning 2-0 at Theatre of Dreams.

Sylvester Simba and Derrick Atta Agyei each scored a goal in the first half to give the Believers a crucial victory that added to the Porcupine Warriors’ suffering.

After losing a startling six games and drawing one, Kotoko has now gone seven games without a victory.

Dreams FC’s dominance over Asante Kotoko is demonstrated by the fact that they have now won three of their last four meetings against the Porcupine Warriors.

With the win, the team moved up to the 14th spot in the standings and out of the relegation zone.

Asante Kotoko, on the other hand, is having its worst season in years as they fall to 12th place on the log.

Kotoko’s record is currently the lowest of any team in the league, having lost seven games and picked up just four points in the second round of play.
