On matchday 27 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday, Legon Cities defeated Hearts of Oak with two goals in the second half from Albert Yeboah. It was a hard-fought victory.

At the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Yeboah pulled off a spectacular brace to keep the Phobians off the board.

The striker gave the Royals the lead in the 54th minute and sealed the victory at home 12 minutes later with a powerful header.

With the victory, Hearts of Oak is now in 10th place on the table, while Legon Cities moves up to 11th.

It’s a significant victory for Paa Kwesi Fabian’s team, who are optimistic about their upcoming match at the same location against Berekum Chelsea.

Legon Cities was thwarted by Hearts’ formidable defense until nine minutes into the second half, when Albert Yeboah broke the deadlock. The game was then decided in the 64th minute when Yeboah scored his second goal.
