The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Augustine Evans Adotey, is confident that his team will defeat Young Africans (Yanga) Sporting Club.

In his pre-match press conference, he expressed his optimism ahead of the game with the Tanzanian team at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

In the CAF Champions League group stage this season, Yanga has only one point out of a possible six points prior to the match, while Medeama has won and lost in two games.

Coach Adotey is sticking with a win for his team despite Yanga’s sluggish start to the competition in the group stage. The team is considered one of Africa’s best teams and poses a serious threat to Medeama’s chances of qualifying.

“My mission tomorrow is to ensure victory and I don’t want to listen to the word “fail”. I will not fail. I am a winner. I want to win tomorrow and that is my mission. I am going to win tomorrow; that’s my message.” the gaffer revealed.
